“Giving ourselves back to the land”

Robert Frost wrote “The land was ours before we were the lands” Studying and learning about our natural environment—and especially gardening here is the best way to give ourselves back to the land that sustains us.

Over the decades Panayoti Kelaidis has traveled across Wyoming countless times—visiting family, of course, but also for business: he and his ex-wife operated “Rocky Mountain Rare Plants”—a seed company that introduced hundreds of kinds of wild seed collected everywhere in the West, but mostly Wyoming! He began leading field trips to the Cody area thanks to the existence of TAC, and this has led to a multiplicity of staff from Denver Botanic Gardens using TAC as a base of operations for research and conservation work.
